On Sunday, August 26th a few brave JETAA members, plus friend and child of JETAA members, went out to brave stand-up paddleboarding out on Ward’s Island. I’m happy to report that in our SUPing adventures not a single person fell off their board, and we all managed to get standing and paddling like pros. It was a gorgeous summer day, and we also made use of the island to go for a dip over at the beach both before and after the paddleboarding. Afterward, some of us went for a nice, relaxing nijikai meal at the Island Café. All in all, paddleboarding was pretty fun and I recommend it to try if you’ve been curious! Big thanks to Nadine for organizing.
