JETAA’s well-loved yuletide tradition of singing ourselves hoarse was the perfect way to kick off the holiday season, this year at a new location in Toronto’s Koreatown. Belting everything from Christmas classics to Disney and broadway hits to Japanese favorites (jouzu desu ne!!), our ten-voice crew definitely gave the other groups at Gorhe Gorhe on that busy Friday night a run for their money. Complete with tasty Asian snacks and a little soju, Kurisumasu Karaoke III was a fun celebration of the many times I’m sure we all let loose at our local karaoke joints back in Japan.
