Thank you to everyone who came out to support our event! Three short weeks after disaster struck Japan, JETAA Toronto put together a highly successful fundraiser at the Hard Rock Café. We had over 300 people in attendance to enjoy live local bands, a taiko group, as well as a successful silent auction. Everyone left with a handmade paper crane pin.
At the end of the night we were able to raise $12,000 – all of which will go directly to the Canadian Red Cross. There are many reasons for this massive success. Firstly, the kindness and support of all the attendees. Secondly, our generous sponsors who donated over $7000 worth of retail product. Thirdly, the Hard Rock Café, who donated the event space free of charge. Lastly, our volunteers who spent countless hours before and during the event to ensure that it was a success.
We would like to thank the amazing musicians and performers who donated their time and made the event a rocking event.
Our excellent host was Mr. Jason Kucherawy. And the evening’s performers included . . .
