Come take a hike with the JET Alumni Association!
We’ll rally at 11:00AM at the pond-side exit of Evergreen Farmer’s Market, where we can grab a coffee and some provisions from local vendors – including mochi from Natural Japan Eats.
Once gathered and sufficiently caffeinated, we’ll embark on the the Brickworks Pond Loop. This 2.4km loop is a simple course consisting mainly of flat walkways, making it easygoing for attendees of all ages and abilities.
We expect to complete the course shortly after noon, just on time for lunch and/or more snacks at the farmer’s market. If the interest and willpower is there, we can continue back into town taking the Beltline Trail another 4km or so, where it lets us out around Davisville Station, on the Yonge Line.
Friends, family, partners, and prospective JETs are all welcome at this free event, so come out and say hi! Summer is finally here, and what better way to celebrate than by eating a tonne of carbs, and then hiking it off!
Evergreen is serviced via the 28 Bayview South bus from Davisville Station, as well as a Free Shuttle from Broadview Station.
