We are pleased to offer JLPT-focus Japanese classes to JETAA Toronto alumni! Lessons will be half conversational, half structured lesson.

I never knew quite how badly I wanted to throw an axe until I held one in my hands. I mean, I suppose I’d had an inkling. (I think anyone who has ever been anything remotely into fantasy has imagined swinging swords and throwing a whole range of sharp pointed objects). But it wasn’t until this September’s JETAA Axe-Throw-Houdai over at the Backyard Axe Throwing League that my chance was finally realized. All within a safe learning environment and with competent instructors! Technically, they were instructor-referees, and were AWESOME. Thank you Cookie and Millsy! They made the entire night a lot of fun and provided lots of laughs, even if even they couldn’t quite save my game. It turns out axe throwing requires a lot of core strength in the torso. (more…)
