On Canada Day, JETAA Toronto went up to the JCCC’s Caledon Estate to help support and set up the annual Canada Day Japanese Canadian Community Picnic.
Despite a few scattered showers, the sun came out and it turned out to be a great picnic, with families coming out to try the fishing derby, play bingo, and join in the sports and races.
JETAA was again happy to organize the games for the picnic, tapping into our natural JET enthusiasm and love of competition! The water balloon toss, geta races, and candy toss were a big hit. If you missed it this year, be sure to join us with your family and friends next year!
